Registration of EX-A export document mandatory
Prior registration of the EX-A export document is now mandatory at ECT Delta and Euromax. If this is not the case, the container will no longer be admitted to the terminal.
The EX-A document is mandatory when exporting goods from Europe. The container may only enter the terminals if this document has been previously registered via the Notification Export Documentation (MED) in Portbase. This applies to delivery of the container(s) by truck, barge and rail.
If we handle the documentation, we would like to receive the required data in good time so that we can ensure that the export document is prepared and registered before the container arrives at the terminal. Do you handle the documentation yourself? Then we would like to advise you to register the export documents early to avoid refusal at the terminal.
This arrangement was already in place at RWG, APM Terminal I and II, but now also at ECT Delta and Euromax.
